First, www.kidskonnect.com is a great research site for students. There are topics such as countries, math, magnets, ext, and other tools such as a dictionary to help student learn, practice and research a variety of content areas.
www.funbrain.com is an amazing site for students! The games are so much fun! There are lots of stimulating games that help students practice in a variety of content areas.
www.learningplanet.com is full of great science and math lesson plans, games, and content help for both students and teachers. There are some great interactive games in this site!
www.4teachers.org is one of my personal favorite sites. I like that lesson plans from other educators are easy to pull up and give a detailed account of projects, goals and sometimes standards. This is a great site for getting ideas.
Next, www.rubistar.org is a great site for easy completion of rubrics. With the emphasis on documentation recently in education, this is a great site!
www.googleearth.com I know we’ve already had this site but I think it is an essential teaching tool! The site has information and a free download for google earth.
I’m not sure if it counts, but www.ksde.org is an essential site for educators due to the No Child Left Behind Act. Come here for all your standards!
www.lessonplanspage.com is also a great site for getting lesson plans in grades k-12
www.atozteacherstuff.com is a great site for EVERYTHING! There are themes, lesson plans, worksheets, activities and links. This is another comprehensive site for teaching ideas.
www.firstschoolyears.com is a great site for early elementary. There are flash cards, lesson ideas and activities for the early primary grades.
